Craig MacQuarrie
Craig is a musician based in Glasgow, with over fifteen years experience playing guitar, and extensive experience gigging and playing at numerous live events.
Craig is soon to be a graduate of Glasgow Clyde College, where he studied multiple musical disciplines, including composition, live performance, music business and music production.

Consent & Performers Rights
This refers to a performers' right to not have their performance recorded without their consent. Under current legislation there only needs to be a 'reasonable' belief that consent is given, i.e. the performer is aware of the recording and does nothing to stop it. Further consent in writing is required for the following:-
Reproduce the recording.
Distribute the recording.
Rent/Lend copies of the recording.
Make available to the public.
Copyright info
Copyright refers to the right to prevent copying of music without the copyright holder's permission. In the UK this is covered by the copyright designs & patents act 1988. This act gives further rights, including:-
Issuing copies to the public.
renting/lending the work to the public.
performing, showing or playing the music in public.
communicating the work to the public.
Making an adaptation to the work OR doing any of the above to any adaptations.
The Act additionally covers secondary infringements such as:-
Importing, possessing or dealing with an infringing copy.
Providing the means to make infringing copies.
Permitting the use of premises for an infringing performance.
Providing apparatus for an infringing performance.
